Territory[]
KiteClan lives in the high mountains, and regulary have to fight kites, eagles, falcons and hawks.
Leader's Den: In a hollow tree. The Leader has to climb up a pile of rubble, then make their way across a branch, through a hole in the tree, then inside the tree. (AKA The Hollowtree)
Deputy's Den: The Deputy is also a guard. They sit on the top of one of the only trees this high up a mountain to watch the sky. The tree is called the Watcher's Willow. Woven between the willow branches, there is the nest of the deputy. It is suspended between the strong branches so that they can view the camp from above.
Medicine Den (or Healer Hole, or Doctor Dungeon, courtesy of Moonkitti :) ):
The Medicine Den is located in a cave, northwest of the Watcher's Willow, and below the Hollowtree, just to the front a bit. Inside the cave, there is a narrow tunnel about four-and-a-half tail-lengths long. Then it opens up into a wide area that could fit two badgers comfortably. A narrow crevice beside some vines holds the medicine herbs that the MDC uses.
Warriors Den:
Southeast of the Watcher's Willow sits some berry bushes. Underneath the bushes, AshClan (ancestors) has said to have hollowed out the stone itself. Down there is where the Warriors sleep.
Apprentice Den:
There are always two teams of apprentices; usually two to three in each group. Each group has a mentor on a 2:1 basis (app, warrior). Under the cover of the outmost branches of the Watcher's Willow, they look out for the birds of prey that frequently attack camp, or, since prey is scarce, any prey that wanders curiously into eyesight. One group every night, the other sleeps underneath a berry bush.
Nursery:
In a 'lower down' section of camp, southwest to the Hollowtree. Kits can not climb up the slanted slope until at least four and a quarter moons old. It is prophesied that a kit who can climb up at one moon old will teach the Clan the ways of the tree-climbers in the forests below and save them.
